The Punjabi Chicken & Jeera Rice dinner kit is our BEST SELLING dinner kit.  Made from a traditional village recipe, it’s a go-to dish combination for either a mid-week or weekend meal for all the family. Punjabi chicken as a cooked dish is also a 2019 Great Taste Award winner. Delicious served with our easy-to-make Cumin rice

Each sachets serves 4 people. (£1.46 per person at full price).  Method instructions come through via email, after purchase.

How do I know what to do with the meal sachets?


You receive e-instructions for the meal sachets. These tell you:


  • How long prep and cooking takes

  • The ingredients list

  • The step-by-step method instructions

  • What to do if you only want to cook or eat 1 or 2 portions at a time


 

I have a special dietary requirement

The spices and dried ingredients, and fresh ingredients neede are all:


  • Gluten-free

  • Wheat-free

  • Dairy-free – only if you swap out the ghee and use oil.


However, although we prepare our products containing wheat and gluten, in a separate area, these kits are not made in an environment guaranteed to be ‘freefrom’.

 


 

What fresh ingredients do I need?

Sunflower oil or ghee, onions, fresh garlic, fresh ginger, fresh chillis , tomato puree, chicken.

 

Storage & shelf life

 


Store the dinner kit in pantry-like conditions, a cool dark cupboard. Do not choose a cupboard that is next to your oven or an appliance that gives off heat, or a part of your kitchen where the sun shines on it.

The ‘best before’ dates on our products are always 6-12 months. There are no ‘use by’ dates, as we do not include anything perishable. Leaving you to add fresh ingredients gives you the best value and freedom to choose when to cook your dinner kit. This ensures no food waste.
